One last time, let me be careless

One last time, let me be rude

One last time, let me be fearless

One last time, let me be crude

For closure is also the finale

Shouldn’t it be dramatic then?

An almost cathartic rally

When you finally undo the pretense

Beneath the calmness of the soul

The dormant mind works overtime

Let me be the crime

Oh my! Just one last time.

Dedicated to all of us who’ve witnessed that one final moment of eruption of the heart and the mind, after which, healing begins. It lays the foundation for an inner dialogue. For it is only after a finale, that one can start afresh, isn’t it?
