Black and white

Or brown and yellow

It is the heart that decides

Whether you’re deep or shallow

In a world full of color

Being blind to it

Does make one hollow

Prejudiced because someone’s darker

Is that the rule we want to follow?

This love for fair

And all things bright

Sounds like an out of tune cello

Time we see color

For what it is and what it’s not

That’s the only way we can make

This world a little mellow
